Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved children's book, this musical tells the story of a young girl who possesses a brilliant mind and an indomitable spirit. Despite her challenges at home and at school with Miss Trunchbull, Matilda uses her intelligence and resourcefulness to make a difference.

Matilda creatives Dennis Kelly, Tim Minchin, and Matthew Warchus paint a vibrant world showcasing the power of imaginative thinking. There’s plenty of catchy tunes too, such as “Naughty," "Revolting Children," and "When I Grow Up."

The show has won numerous awards, including seven Olivier Awards. Critics hailed Matilda in London as a masterpiece, with London Theatre calling it “hugely enjoyable and cracking fun.”

See it if you like Roald Dahl's book. It's closer to the book than the movie. Very cleverly written lyrics too, expected from Tim Minchin.

Don’t see it if you don't like kids. Or Tim Minchin. Also, it may get a bit too dark for kids during a couple of scenes.
