Sadler’s Wells is no stranger to contemporary works of dance that seek to challenge and question our understandings of the world and this November it will welcome a show put together by their own Associate Artist Jasmin Vardimon in the form of “Jasmin Vardimon Company’s 7734”. It will be a unique opportunity to witness a show that combines a range of styles to get across its message, allowing those who have missed Jasmin’s work for other venues the chance to experience the exhilarating spectacle. So make sure you pick up theatre tickets to witness “Jasmin Vardimon Company’s 7734” as soon as possible.
7734 will look at the world around us as it seeks to confront the legacy that has been sealed by man’s own brutality towards others as the world is transformed into hell. But at the same time it also looks at the resilience of the human spirit and the result is likely to be a compelling exploration of man and planet Earth, with dance, physical theatre, music and text all coming together to help the message get across to the audience. The production has been put together in collaboration with another London theatre in the form of the Soho and it is likely to be something that audiences remember for some time to come.
Jasmin Vardimon has been a renowned artist for many years, regularly presenting shows that have made her name. The result has been an abundance of awards heading her way, including the Jerwood Choreography Award. Her group – The Jasmin Vardimon Company – has created many works over the years and these have also included “Therapist”, “Madame Made” and “Lullaby”. The result has been a sizable audience for her shows and this was cemented when she presented “Yesterday” at the Peacock Theatre in 2008, which was a socially conscious show featuring breathtaking performances from eight dancers.
So make sure you pick up tickets to witness “Jasmin Vardimon Company’s 7734” at Sadler’s Wells, the venue responsible for showcasing a range of stunning shows to London audiences for many years. This year sees it present a range of productions, from Iphigenie Auf Tauris to a range of shows from the Rambert Dance Company.
Jasmin Vardimon Company’s 7734 appears at Sadler’s Wells on Thursday 25th November 2010 and Friday 26th November 2010. It also appears at venues across the country on a UK tour.
