John Leguizamo - Ghetto Klown

From the end of October the American performer John Leguizamo will be arriving on UK shores to present his current show “Ghetto Klown”, which has already won over audiences on Broadway. For those that are fans of his work it will be an unbeatable opportunity to witness the man in the flesh and for those hoping to pick up Theatre Tickets to witness a fascinating and stand-out insight into one man’s life this is the show for them.

John Leguizamo is a well known actor who has appeared in various movies, television shows and stage productions and over the years he has amassed numerous credits. On film his credits include the early 90s movie version of “Super Mario Bros.”, portraying Tybalt in Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo + Juliet”  and providing the voice of Sid the Sloth in the “Ice Age” series of movies. For the stage he has appeared in numerous shows on the other side of the Atlantic, from “Mambo Mouth” and “Spit-O-Rama” to “Sexaholic...A Love Story” and “Klass Klown”, the latter two focusing on various parts of his life and person.

This time around he will look at his adolescent memories in Queens progressing through to his early days as an actor and his years in Hollywood.

“John Leguizamo’s Ghetto Klown” appears at Charing Cross Theatre from Thursday 27th October 2011 (previews from Tuesday 25th October 2011) to Saturday 12th November 2011.
