In March 2011 a creative team will arrive at Sadler’s Wells that will have fans of Hans Christian Andersen and the Pet Shop Boys coming together with London theatre audiences to witness a unique and memorable show. This is because the pop musicians will be working alongside some top names in the business to create a new dance spectacular based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Most Incredible Thing”. With Javier De Frutos as choreographer and Ivan Putrov as the star of the show, it is likely to be a stand out show in the spring of 2011.
Hot on the heels of their recent project “My Dad’s A Birdman”, which they worked on at the Old Vic from 2010 to 2011, The Pet Shop Boys move on to “The Most Incredible Thing”, a story of a great prize to the person responsible for creating the most incredible thing. It also comes hot on the heels of Sadler’s Wells role as part of the Flamenco Festival 2011, which features performances from artists like Estrelle Morente and Israel Galvan.
The Most Incredible Thing is at Sadler’s Wells from Thursday 17th March 2011 to Saturday 26th March 2011.
