The well known choreographer William Forsythe brings his distinct style to the stage of Sadler’s Wells in 2011 and proves to his London theatre fans why he is considered one of the best choreographers the world has to offer. From his work with the Ballet Frankfurt to his continuing efforts with The Forsythe Company (which presents this piece) he has managed to create some impressive pieces of work over the years and become one of the most influential choreographers still operating in the music scene. So it is likely that those wishing to pick up dance tickets and witness “I don’t believe in outer space” are going to leave enormously satisfied this February.
The event comes hot on the heels of the Flamenco Festival London 2011, which features Estrelle Morente, among others, as part of its line-up. So the production from The Forsyth Company is likely to provide something uniquely contrasting and particularly memorable as William Forsyth takes us on a personal journey. The show focuses on the nature of existence and, backed by the music of Thom Willems, will give audiences great insight into the world according to William Forsyth.
I don’t believe in outer space appear at Sadler’s Wells from Tuesday 22nd February 2011 to Wednesday 23rd February 2011.
