The Arts Theatre in London’s West End will be welcoming a stand-out one-woman show in February in the form of “Big Pants and Botox” by Louise Roche, with Rebecca Wheatley in the sole role. The production is presented by Goodnights Entertainment, which is run by Roche and her husband Jack Randle.
The story focuses on the character of Barbara and through the performance of Wheatley we follow her on an occasion that is viewed as emotional rollercoaster – her 50th birthday. The show promises plenty of comic moments and poignant sentiments, alongside something else that is the sign of a memorable story – a big secret.
Rebecca Wheatley has appeared in various productions over the years, both on the stage and the screen, with credits such as west end shows “Bad Girls the Musical” and “Fame and television shows such as “Loose Women” and “Casualty”. Her work with the latter also saw her hit the pop charts alongside fellow cast members such as “Everlasting Love”.
Louise Roche, meanwhile, has penned plays like “Frankie’s Game”, “Same Difference” and “Checkout Girls”, though she has also branched out to the screen with the like of “Where the Heart Is”.
“Big Pants and Botox” has a brief appearance at the Arts Theatre with theatre tickets available for shows from Thursday 9th February 2012 to Saturday 11th February 2012.
