The Charing Cross Theatre in London is set to welcome The Pajama men in January as they bring the show that turned heads at the Soho Theatre to the stage. This brand new show is the latest in a long line of successful shows for the American comedy duo and this production is certain to be a worthy classic to stand-up alongside the best. The show follows up another comic act that appears from December to January in the form of “Fascinating Aïda”, whilst the likes of Doc Brown also appear before the end of 2011, showing that the Charing Cross Theatre has a lot to offer when it comes to comedy.
The Pajama Men are a comedy duo consisting of Mark Chavaz and Shenoah Allen and they have been performing together for over a decade and made their debut in the United Kingdom with their show “In Fine Form” at the 2004 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Since then they have been seen on stages around the world, picking up many awards and nominations along the way, from the Perrier Best Newcomer Award from Edinburgh, the Barry Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and also a nomination from the UK’s Chortle Awards, showing that they have plenty of admirers.
This time around they bring a thriller that is described as fast paced to the Charing Cross Theatre, which will focus on an array of topics along the way. From alien abduction and time travel to the enduring spirit of adventure and exploration, from the pressure cooker of solitude and giant sea monsters to dim-witted men and the most talked-about human emotion of all – love – there will be plenty for audiences to take in when it arrives in town. They have already proven themselves to be highly talented comedians with their fast character sketches, their twisting plots and their gift for gags, so “In the Middle of No One” is likely to be their best show yet!
London theatre audiences can head to the Charing Cross Theatre to witness “The Pajama Men – In the Middle of No One” from Monday 9th January 2012 to Saturday 3rd March 2012.
