Coldplay Tickets

It means that whenever they appear onstage at venues across the world, tickets for these anticipated shows sell out fast, making them highly sought after musicians.

They are Coldplay, who shot to the charts with their debut album “Parachutes” ten years ago. Fronted by Christ Martin, the band also consists of Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion and together they are the proud recipients of Grammy Award nominations, Mercury Prize Nominations and many Album of the Year Honours. They have also sold a staggering 50 million albums around the world since they first formed back in 1998.

Back then they had in fact been operating under various different names for some time, with Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland joining forces to form Pectoralz in 1996 whilst studying at University College London. When Guy Berryman joined the band the next year they changed their name to Starfish and eventually became Coldplay when Will Champion took on the drums and Phil Harvey agreed to be their manager. However, it was still unknown to them just how monumentally successful they would turn out to be.

Before the release of their breakthrough hit album “Parachutes”, Coldplay released various EPs; the first of them was “Safety EP”, which they used to promote themselves to record labels. The second of them was “Brothers and Sisters EP”, which they released under Fierce Panda and the third was their first release under Parlophone Records under whom they would release many of their big hits. It was called “The Blue Room” and it was the first record that would give them significant airplay.

In 2000 they hit the airwaves with their song “Yellow”, which turned many heads with the sight of Chris Martin walking along a beach front singing the now-iconic song. It was followed by the album “Parachutes” and worldwide fame. Across the decade they have since released “A Rush of Blood to the Head” (2002), “X&Y” (2005) and “Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008).

Whenever Coldplay release a new album it is regularly matched by huge success as they hit the airwaves and show other bands how it is done. They will undoubtedly appear on a live stage to showcase their talents to adoring crowds, offering people a live experience that cannot be beaten by anyone else in the world. As a result, the opportunity to see them onstage should not be passed up

Coldplay are likely to be around for many years to come, with the band operating under a democracy that sees each member gain equal status. It means that they are a band without internal conflict and void of drug problems that might scar other groups. They are also a group that will be remembered well into the future.
