Songs like “If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next” and “The Masses Against the Classes” have reached high chart positions and remain famous over ten years since their release, whilst the distinctive vocal and musical work of the band has maintained a strong fan base to the modern day. So when they appear on stage once again, the Manic Street Preachers are likely to be a popular draw, with tickets to their shows selling out fast.

So getting hold of Manic Street Preachers is a must if you want to witness live versions of songs performed by James Dean Bradfield on vocals and guitars, Nicky Wire on bass and some vocals and Sean Moore on the drums. Since they formed in 1986 they have enjoyed a successful career, with their debut album hitting stores in 1992 and their live shows taking them around the world for the next two decades. Some of their albums have been highly influential and as a result they have earned an abundance of awards during their time at the top, including numerous BRITs, Q Awards an more.

Their most famous album is possibly the enormously popular “The Holy Bible”, which was released in 1994, though they have also had success with other releases, beginning with their debut album “Generation Terrorists” in 1992 and progressing with “Gold Against the Soul” in 1993, “Everything Must Go” in 1996 and “This is My Truth Tell Me Yours” in 1998. Then the new decade arrived and they maintained a hold on their fan base with albums such as “Know Your Enemy” in 2001, “Lifeblood” in 2004, “Send Away the Tigers” in 2007 and “Journal for Plague Lovers” in 2009.

But “The Holy Bible” remains a seminal point in the career of the Manic Street Preachers and today it is regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time with fans regularly citing it as an album everyone must listen to. More recently they have released “Journal for Plague Lovers”, which was put together using lyrics left over from Richey Edwards, the band member who mysteriously disappeared in 1995. Songs from the album included “Peeled Apples” and “Jackie Collins Existential Question Time”, whilst no singles were released into the charts.

The Manic Street Preachers have come a long way since they formed back in 1986 and they remain an integral part of the British rock scene and are likely to continue impressing the music press and fans for years to come. So if you want to witness this long-lasting rock band live, make sure you get hold of Manic Street Preachers tickets as soon as possible, so you can hear some of the best songs of the last two decades performed in front of you.
