They regularly command enormous stages at festivals and at venues across the country and as a result they maintain a strong presence in the live scene – something that is good news for fans hoping to get hold of high quality concert tickets. So when they take to the stage, expect a show that more than lives up to the hype and continues to cement Placebo at the top of their game.
Placebo contains the bassist Stefan Olsdal and the drummer Steve Forrest, though they are perhaps most recognisable for the androgynous looks of Brian Molko (vocalist and guitarist). It is an image that has been associated with the band since their inception and not one that they try to shake off, with the movie “Androgyny” appearing in 2005 and various songs that hint to this distinction. So they are certainly a stand-out band and when they emerge on stage they will prove that their songs, which already sound great on CD, sound just as good when they are performed live onstage. Audiences regularly flock to witness Placebo live whenever there are rock tickets available, with Brian Molko and co. put their musical expertise to the test. So whilst they have been around since the middle of the 1990s, they remain as important and as sought-after as ever.
After all, whilst rock fans have been lapping up their work since 1996, they are likely to continue delivering some high quality albums and singles as the years go on, further cementing their musical domination and their place in rock history. When it comes to concert tickets to witness some high quality alternative rock bands, Placebo tickets must come out on top.
