Now free from the shackles of a record label, they have the ability to create music that gets the heart of what they are trying to say, with punk sounds breaking through ahead of the pop songs that made them famous. As they continue into the new decade, they remain an exciting and energetic band with plenty left to say and it makes getting hold of the Futureheads tickets all the more necessary when their shows get closer and closer.
Consisting of Ross Millard, Dave Hyde, Barry Hyde and David ‘Jaff’ Craig, the Futureheads have earned a lot of attention for their studio albums and popular live shows. They originally got together in 2000 and began to perform together, before gaining a reputation and signing up to a record label to work on some well known tracks. Before the decade was up they would have performed alongside some well known bands, from Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol to Pixies and more, with festivals and positively received concerts under their belt as well.
Their debut album was the self-titled “The Futureheads” in 2004, which quickly made their name with songs like “Hounds of Love” and “Decent Days and Nights” receiving particular attention and appearances at various events like BBC Radio One’s One Big Weekend. They would follow it up with “News and Tributes” in 2006, which featured songs like “Skip to the End”. They then left their record label, but continued to churn out albums under their own independent company, with their third and fourth albums taking the form of “This is not the World” and “The Chaos”. With each new release they continue to prove they still have the ability to impress, particularly with songs like “The Beginning of the Twist” and “I Wouldn't Be Like This If You Were Here”.
So make sure you get hold of the Futureheads tickets as soon as possible. It will be a chance to witness an exciting young band continue to entertain from the stage, with live renditions of songs sounding better than you could imagine.
