For the past few years the Sunshine Underground have had a cult following of eager fans ready to listen to anything they put out. They have managed to live up to this with studio albums, EPs and singles which are littered with well crafted songs pulled out of the punk, indie and funk scenes, leading to an eclectic mix of sounds that give their fans plenty to muster over.
This translates effortlessly to the stage and as a result, Sunshine Underground tickets are likely to be a popular draw for many music lovers all over the country.
Hailing from Telford and Shrewsbury, The Sunshine Underground began to form their unique sound and perform on stages after moving to Leeds, where they slowly built up a name for themselves. They also released an EP entitled “My Army”, but it would be the release of “Raise the Alarm” in 2006 that would bring them an abundance of fans, with singles like “Put You in Your Place”, “I Ain’t Losing Any Sleep” and “Borders” proving to be well-crafted tracks. They would follow up the album with “Nobody’s Coming to Save You” in 2010 along with singles like “Coming To Save You”, “We’ve Always Been Your Friends” and “Spell It Out”.
These releases have allowed them to take to the stage across the country and put on memorable shows for their adoring fans. Though they are yet to break into the mainstream they still have plenty of things left to say and time will tell if they make the leap and find their audience swelling. But for now, they will continue to play in more intimate venues where Sunshine Underground tickets allow for a great night of awe-inspiring music.
