Fat Boy Slim Tickets

Whenever Fat Boy Slim tickets are available, they have the habit of selling out fast. This is no surprise as he is one of the pioneers of a genre that has millions of fans across the United Kingdom. Whilst he is best known as a solo act, he is also well known for entertaining adoring crowds as part of The Housemartins, Freak Power, Beats International and at the Brighton Port Authority, a location that sees him perform regularly.

Fat Boy Slim tickets are highly sought after, which means that nothing much has changed since his explosion onto the charts in 1996 with “Better Living Through Chemistry”. Prior to this he had released singles as part of The Housemartins in the 1980s with his debut solo hit taking the form of “Blame It On The Bassline”, back when he went by his real name of Normal Cook.

After a stint with Beats International, Cook continued to find success as a solo artist with 1995 seeing him release the “Pizzamania” album under the Pizzaman pseudonym. It was a successful album and introduced him to numerous new fans, who could not get enough of singles such as “Happiness”, “Trippin’ on Sunshine” and “Sex on the Streets”.

But the title of Fat Boy Slim would be the pseudonym to take him to mainstream success, with the 1996 album “Better Living Through Chemistry” and single “Everybody Needs A 303”. He had found millions of fans and would soon capitalise on his success with the second Fat Boy Slim album “You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby”, which featured “Praise You” as a song. The single version of this became huge hit and the video was helmed by “Being John Malkovich”, “Adaptation” and “Where the Wild Things Are” director Spike Jonze. He earned numerous awards and had definitely made his mark.

Fat Boy Slim returned with the albums “Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars” in 2000 and “Palookaville” in 2004. However, 2010 sees him return to the charts once more with a new album alongside David Byrne entitled “Here Lies Love”. It is set to be a concept album concerning the life of the First Lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos. For fans of Fat Boy Slim, or even David Byrne, it is an anticipated release.

Fat Boy Slim tickets should be snapped up as soon as they go on sale. They guarantee an unbeatable live experience that will stay in the heart for many years to come.
