With wide-ranging influences and a live band that includes members from other acts like Lightspeed Champion they have made quite an impression and look set to continue to impress well into the future.
Though Metronomy was founded by the musician Joseph Mount, the live band also includes Oscar Cash as keyboardist and saxophonist, Gbenga Adelekan on the bass guitar and Anna Prior on the drums. So far they have released songs such as “Wonders”, “A Thing for Me”, “Holiday” and “Not Made for Love”, amongst others, in addition to further tracks found on their albums. Their debut was 2006’s “Pip Paine (Pay the $5000 You Owe)” and it was followed by “Nights Out” in 2008 and 2011’s “The English Riviera”. Such releases ensure a high demand for dance tickets and plenty of stand-out material for them to bring to the stage.
After all, audiences wishing to get the best Metronomy experience need only pick up tickets and witness them in a live setting as this is where their songs will sound their best and where the atmosphere will lead to an unforgettable experience. Like any musical group their tours feature some great performances and Metronomy also include bright lights and spectacular dance moves as well.
