During their heyday they had fans up and down the country and whilst plenty of them would arrive at shows nationwide they also had fans within the music press, meaning that their acclaim would span many areas. Their return could not have come sooner and when they take to the stage audiences can once again expect to see Orbital tickets becoming the top draw they were back in the 1990s.

The duo consists of the musical brothers Phil Hartnoll and Paul Hartnoll and together they became amongst the best known names in the electronic music industry in the 1990s and it was rare to find a fan of the genre who did not appreciate their work. From early hits like “Chime” and “Halcyon” to further releases like “The Box”, “Satan”, “The Saint” and “Style” they managed to attract many fans and they are likely to attract many more with contemporaries like “The Gun is Good” and “Don’t Stop Me”.

Their career has also seen them release an abundance of albums since 1991, beginning with their early hits in 1991 and 1993 that are known as “The Green Album” and “The Brown Album” respectively. Their highest charting albums of the 1990s would go on to be “Snivilisation” in 1994 and “The Middle of Nowhere” in 1999. Further records would go on to include “The Altogether” in 2001 and “Blue Album” in 2004 in addition to compilations and live albums that would keep the fans happy in between. They would then disappear for much of the remaining decade before re-emerging with “Orbital 20” in 2009, their latest compilation release that ensured that they had made a safe return to the stage.

And it is onstage in which fans will hear songs from these albums at their finest as the Hartnoll brothers make sure that Orbital tickets have been well worth the money and that fans all over the country get a chance to witness one of the biggest electronic acts of the 1990s. Their popularity has been there from an early point in their career, but they have still come a long way, with their 2010 performance at Glastonbury being amongst the highlights of that event and cementing their status as a band with plenty left to say.

So as the most recognisable name in British electronic dance music, Orbital can safely say they are back as fans clamour to get hold of tickets and witness the masters at work. It has been well worth the wait and since the stir caused by their 2009 reunion they have ensured that audiences will continue to pay great interest to their output.
