Since the 1990s they have been turning heads with various albums and songs, whilst also creating an impression with their work under other names as well, such as 2 Many DJs. So when concert tickets go on sale, you can be certain of a high number of electronic music lovers clamouring to get hold of Soulwax passes before it is too late.
The two musician that make up Soulwax are David Dewaele and Stephen Dewaele and whilst they also perform under 2 Many DJs they have also found fans under the name Flying Deweale Brothers. But whatever name they go by there is no doubting the talents and skills on display, with Soulwax songs such as “Conversation Intercom” from the beginning of the last decade, which progressed to others like “Much Against Everyone’s Advice”, “Too Many DJs” and “NY Excuse”, amongst others. So whilst electronic music tickets to witness other acts usually lead to a memorable experience, this is beyond ensured with Soulwax.
And if you need more proof of that, then looking at the list of albums they have released over the years should do the job. In the second half of the 1990s they emerged with the record “Leave the Story Untold” and they would go on to release “Much Against Everyone’s Advice” in 1998, “Any Minute Now” in 2004, “Nite Versions” in 2005 and the remix album with a title too long to print (“Most of the remixes we’ve made for other people over the years...”) from 2007. With plenty left in them and a new decade upon us, expect Soulwax to continue to keep their fans happy with more releases well into the future.
But for now, when Soulwax take to the stage there is likely to be a high number of audience members who will be armed with Soulwax tickets and descending on the venue at hand.
