As a new decade begins they remain an integral part of the Irish music scene, having formed back in 1962 and becoming a defining feature of Irish folk. The current line up of The Dubliners includes Barney McKenna on vocals and the Irish tenor banjo, as well as the mandolin and melodeon. They released many live albums before emerging with their first studio album in 1967 called “A Drop of the Hard Stuff” which has also gone by the name “Seven Drunken Nights”, was a popular release at home in Ireland and laid the foundations of further releases to come. Other albums include “Finnegan Wakes (Live)” in 1966, “At Home with the Dubliners” in 1969, “Plain and Simple” in 1973, “Together Again” in 1979, “25 Years of Celebration” in 1987, “30 Years A-Greying” in 1992, “Live from Gaiety (Live)” in 2002, “Live at Vicar Street (Live)” in 2006.
