There is a music festival out there for everyone, with most rock fans heading out to the countryside to experience the summer music festivals, with camping and live outdoor performances from some of the biggest acts in the world.
It is a staple of the summer season, but it is not the only form of festival that music fans are treated to and some take place earlier or later in the year and sometimes within the confines of an auditorium. But the results are the same – music lovers gathering to experience a range of musical acts in a single setting, enjoying a memorable experience that will stay with them for years to come.
A Festival that has appeared on various occasions at the Roundhouse Theatre in London appears once again in the form of A Taste of Sonar, with top DJs taking to the stage to present a weekend of exhilarating dancefloor classics. It is a warm-up to the bigger Sónar dance event in Barcelona and has been a successful venture at the end of the last decade and continues into the new once with gusto. It attracts some top DJs to the Roundhouse and provides fans with an unbeatable experience. So any fan of dance music should be certain of getting hold of A Taste of Sonar tickets as soon as possible.
In 2009 A Taste of Sonar warm-up event feature some stand-out acts, which sold out before doors opened in the May of that year. Acts included Moderat, with great songs and visuals to entertain the crowd, as well as Jeff Mills, Roland Obeter, Erol Alkan, Mary Anne Hobbs, Jon Hopkins, Angel Molina, Paid djs and Internet2. It was a great insight into the upcoming Barcelona festival and its success would make future appearances inevitable.
And return it would, this time staged in March, but once again featuring some big acts to prepare crowds for Sónar’s main event later in the year. Acts included Ryoichi Kurokawa, Matthew Herbert, Roska, Kidkanevil, Bruna, Katy B, Lunice, Mooken, Hudson Mohawke and Infestus amongst others.
So it is safe to say that when A Taste of Sonar returns, dance music fans should flock to get hold of tickets as quickly as possible. A Taste of Sonar tickets provide audiences with an unbeatable insight into the well known Spanish music festival, which has been running regularly since 1994.
