Field Day Tickets

Field Day tickets are passes to seeing a whole host of acts at an unbeatable day out. It is also a highlight of the summer for those in London with Field Day tickets proving popular enough to give the event a glorious summer atmosphere, unmatched by other events around the country. If you are a fan of live music then you will not want to miss Field Day and with a top line up for 2010 already announced, it is unlikely to disappoint.

The Field Day festival stands out amongst the crowd because of its sister event – the Underage Festival. This is a similar event that takes place at a similar time, with a line up that mirrors the main event and gives younger audiences the opportunity to witness a memorable experience.

The festival has been running since 2007,with a range of big names acts appearing that year and next. In 2007, acts that included Foals, Florence and the Machine, Laura Marling, Mystery Jets, Fridge, Bat for Lashes, Late of the Pier and more all took to the stage in front of around 10,000 adoring fans. It provided audiences with a lasting impression of a great summer event and it would only get better as the years continued to roll by.

2008 saw the size of the festival double as people clamoured to get hold of Field Day tickets. Once again taking place at the start of August at around the same time as the Underage Festival, it proved to be a big success story with more than fifty acts taking to the main stage. Simian Mobile Disco joined the line up alongside Les Savy Fav and a long list of acts that included Noah and the Whale, Lightspeed Champion, Howling Bells and more.

By the time 2009 rolled around, the event had become an even more notable event, with the now-five stages given a new name and the event continuing to attract a huge number of punters and acts. The likes of Mogwai and Mystery Jets were amongst the big name acts and it proved to be a worthwhile experience.

So 2010 is set to be a good year for Field Day as people once again flock to the Victoria Park in Hackney to witness the events on display. Field Day tickets offer a highlight for the summer and something that other summers will have to work hard to match.
