It is a great chance to witness the biggest bands around, with the choice of seeing up and coming groups as well. Throughout the days a range of stages are available for fans to choose from, with the end results being a weekend of overwhelming possibilities.

For Scotland, the major musical festival takes the form of T in the Park, a festival that shares much of its line up with the similar Oxegen festival in Ireland and takes place during the same weekend. It has been a regular fixture of the Scottish musical calendar since 1994 and has been a three-day juggernaut of a festival since 2007. For fans of music it stands up amongst the giants of the summer season, providing an abundance of stages and acts for thousands of music fans to choose from.

T in the Park has been a big event from the start, with huge names gracing the main stage even in its infancy, with early acts taking the form of Oasis, Blur, Rage Against the Machine, Kylie Minogue and more. As the years rolled by, more names continued to tread the boards, forcing the festival to grow in size and eventually emerge as one of the biggest events on the musical calendar. It means that in the last decade the festival has continued to showcase a large array of big name acts, with REM, Coldplay, The Flaming Lips, The Charlatans, Feeder and more appearing in 2003; Green Day, Travis, The Killers and Keane appearing in 2005, and Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party and Scissor Sisters performing in 2007.

In 2009, the event saw 85,000 people descend upon the site in mid-July. The headliners were Kings of Leon, The Killers and Blur, with further acts including Franz Ferdinand, Elbow, Bloc Party and others. Across other stages, the thousands of fans could also enjoy the likes of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Nine Inch Nails, Keane, Manic Street Preachers, Pet Shop Boys and 2 Many DJs. The result was an unbeatable event with huge name appearing on a wide array of stages, giving music fans what they wanted and much more.

So getting to T in the Park is a must if you wish to witness the biggest names in music, with the new decade beginning with the likes of Muse, Eminem and Kasabian and big names promised further down the line. T in the Park tickets provide audiences with a memorable and long-lasting event that is well worth the price.
