Wakestock returns yet again to offer a unique alternative to the abundance of other festivals that dot the music landscape. Festivals tend to set themselves apart from others by the size and shapes of the events at hand, whilst also varying the line-ups and ranges of activities that audiences can take part in.

The result is a large selection of big events, from the Leeds Festival to the hard rock sounds of Download, with plenty of smaller events in between. As such there is an array of festival tickets for everybody.

Then there is Wakestock, a hugely popular festival that takes place in North Wales that, whilst offering the usual display of high quality signed bands, also provides some unique alternatives to visitors. So if you want a festival that goes further than rock music and camping, then by getting hold of Wakestock tickets you will be able to witness some free wakeboarding as well. Since its inception in 2000, over a decade ago, it has attracted festival lovers nationwide.

Over the years some acclaimed acts have appeared onstage, with Wakestock 2009 including headliners in the forms of Moby, N.E.R.D and Dizzee Rascal, in addition to acts like the Noisettes, Calvin Harris, Ebony Bones and more. But like all festivals the line-up has gotten better year after year so when it returned in 2010 it had another great list of acts to boast, with the likes of Maximo Park, the Ting Tings, Chase & Status, Feeder, Wiley and more all a part of the acts that audiences anticipated. Then the 2011 was announced and audiences were not disappointed, with the likes of Biffy Clyro, The Wombats, Ellie Goulding and more all on audiences horizons.

So when it arrives across the weekend in July, audiences will be flocking to pick up festival tickets so that they can witness the abundance of acts that make up Wakestock. Having proved itself as the biggest wakeboard music festival in Europe it is likely to be event to remain on the calendar for years to come, with plenty more acts set to appear as well.
