Fans flocking to the shops to pick up their work have been treated to studio albums, singles and more over the last few years, with music videos making it onto music channels in the mean time and as result they can be regarded as a hard working and high profile band. Bring Me the Horizon currently feature Oliver Sykes as the lead vocalist and today is also joined by the likes of Lee Malia as the guitarist, Matt Kean as their bassist and Matt Nicholls as their drummer. With the departure of Curtis Ward in 2009 they have also added former Bleeding Through and I Killed The Prom Queen’s Jona Weinhofen to their line-up, picking up the rhythm guitar when they take to the stage. These songs and more have appeared on their studio albums “Count Your Blessings” and “Suicide Season” in 2006 and 2008 respectively, with their careers continuing in the next decade as they release another album in 2010. Considering metalcore’s lack of mainstream status as a musical genre, they have enjoyed moderate success with these releases and as a result can expect to perform in front of some big crowds as they take to the road. This will also have been helped by the music videos they have made for songs like “Pray for Plagues”, “For Stevie Wonder’s Eyes Only (Braille)” and “Diamonds Aren’t Forever”, which will only have added to their profile for those that have seen them.
