Enter Shikari have their routes in a previous band by the name of Hybryd, with Enter Shikari soon following and releasing various EPs and demos at gigs and online. They soon began to make their mark, with a slot at 2006’s Download Festival allowing them to add to their massive fan base. The following year they were also able to release their debut album “Take to the Skies”. The record included hit singles such as “Sorry You’re Not a Winner”, “OK Time for Plan B” and “Mothership”, with another single in the form of “Anything Can Happen in the Next Half Hour” emerging soon after.
With magazines and the rest of the music press hailing the band as a group to keep an eye on, Enter Shikari would re-appear two years later with their second album “Common Dread” in June 2009. This time singles included “Juggernauts” and “No Sleep Tonight” and their popularity naturally increased, getting high in the singles charts and hitting the stage once again.
2010 is set to see them release “TRIBALISM”, a mini album with remixes from “Common Dreads”. In addition to brand new tracks, these will prove to be a great accompaniment to the 2009 release and make their return to the stage all the more anticipated.
