During his career he has worked alongside some admired musicians, from John Mayall to Joe Bonamassa, as well as put out some acclaimed work on his own terms. It means that he has been able to build up a steady and devoted fan base, who will all wish to catch him live as soon as Walter Trout tickets go on sale.
He has released a lot of albums since his work with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in the 1980s and early 1990s, with these early releases maintaining his tradition of work with the best musicians in the business. It would eventually culminate in 2006’s “Full Circle” as Walter Trout and the Radicals, where Mayall, Bonamassa and Coco Montoya all contributed to an album that saw the very best join forces. But even at the beginning of his career he was still working alongside some well known names, spending many years as a sideman and as a result playing guitar alongside the likes of Joe Tex and more. So he is no stranger to the work of others, or to the prestige of performing alongside the greats.
But he has produced as lot of great albums on his own terms as well, with many albums on his own Walter Trout Band, including “Life in the Jungle” in 1990, “Tellin’ Stories” in 1994, and “Positively Beale St.” in 1997. He has also released tracks as part of Walter Trout and the Free Radicals, including “Livin’ Every Day” in 1999 and “Live Trout” in 2000, as well as Walter Trout and the Radicals, under whom he has released “Go the Distance” in 2001, “Full Circle” in 2006 and “Hardcore” in 2007. Finally, in recent years he has released records under simply Walter Trout, including “The Outsider” in 2008 and “Unspoiled by Progress: 20 years of Hardcore Blues” in 2009.
So make sure you get hold of Walter Trout tickets as soon as they go on sale. They are passes to witnessing one of the most gifted blues rock musicians around – something that no fan is going to forget quickly.
