Her extensive back catalogue of hit songs will be enjoyed by adoring audiences as she amazes huge crowds with the talents of her voice and musicianship, presenting a performance that will be remembered for many years to come.

Angie Stone began he music career as a member of the female hip hop group behind “Funk You Up”, The Sequence. That was in the early 1980s and since then she has worked alongside other artists and released various songs over a successful and interesting career. During the 1990s she released an album with Gerry DeVeaux entitled “Devox Featuring Angie B”, with appearances on D’Angelo’s albums “Voodoo” and “Brown Sugar”. However, by the end of the decade she would make her mark with a debut solo album of her own.

That took the form of 1999’s “Black Diamond”, which was hugely successful and would eventually be certified Gold. She wowed audiences with a sound that mixed carefully-picked samples and clear soul influences that made her songs highly memorable. As a result, fans were curious as to her next release, which took the form of 2001’s “Mahogany Soul”. It once again found many fans and was eventually certified Gold and cemented her as a new star of the R&B scene.

She followed up “Mahogany Soul” with 2004’s “Stone Love”, which kept her in the spotlight before she released “Stone Hits: The Very Best of Angie Stone” in 2005 and “The Art of Love and War” in 2007. It featured the song “Baby”, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2008 in the category of “Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals”.

Angie Stone’s latest release takes the form of 2010’s “Unexpected”, which will continue to show other R&B artists how it is done, whilst confirming to her many fans that she still has what it takes. As a result, when Angie Stone tickets go on sale, they are likely to be hugely popular, so making sure they are snapped up is a priority.

Then people can experience the music of Angie Stone where it belongs – onstage.
