Some of their singles are songs that have defined the decade, whilst their overall output has earned them the title of 7th Hottest Artist of the Decade, according to the US Billboard’s Decade-End Chart. When they land on stage they deliver a musical treat for the ears and a stage show that will leave your eyes glued to the proceedings. It is no wonder that they have millions of fans around the world.

The Black Eyed Peas first emerged in 1998 with the release of their debut album “Behind the Front”, a record that won them critical acclaim and audience appreciation. They had formed three years earlier in 1995, meaning that it had only taken them three years to reach the mainstream and mark their territory at the top of the charts.

“Behind the Front” featured the singles “Falling Up” and “Joints and Jams”, whilst special appearances were made by the likes of Macy Gray and De La Soul. The Black Eyes Peas had made their mark and for the next decade there would be no stopping them.

They followed the album up with “Bridging the Gap” in 2000, before waiting three years on the release of their third album, arriving in 2003 as “Elephunk”.

“Elephunk” was the first album to feature Fergie after she replaced the original background singer Kim Hill. It would also be the album to catapult them to superstardom, with the single “Where is the Love?” topping charts around the world and making a big impact on the US charts as well. It was followed by “Shut Up”, which received similar success.

In 2005, the Black Eyed Peas emerged with their album “Monkey Business” and singles “My Humps” and “Don’t Phunk with my Heart”, before their latest release “E.N.D” catapulted into the charts in 2009. Their recent release reminded the world of their everlasting appeal and millions of fans around the world flocked to buy it. It also spawned singles such as “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling”, which achieved widespread success.

But whilst the Black Eyed Peas are hitting the top of the charts, band member will.i.am was also enjoying his time as an actor and many people will have recognised him in the hit 2009 movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and he also provided a voice to “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa”.

The Black Eyed Peas are known to people around the world and offer a live show that will stay in the hearts of fans for years to come. It is not something to miss.
