With tens of millions of albums sold around the globe and a record breaking audience of 200,000 attending a show of theirs in Rio, they are one of the most important bands of the 1980s and beyond, with a musical legacy that will continue forever.

Consisting of Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, Morten Harket and Magne Furuholmen, a-ha have seen it all – they have been nominated for a Grammy Award, they have earned global success and they are the best-selling band ever to emerge from Norway. Therefore, their farewell tour will see a-ha tickets sell through the roof as a legendary band leaves us behind. But we will still have decades of top quality music to enjoy, from their debut release in 1985 to their most recent album in 2009. However, their live show should not be missed and when tickets go on sale, you should get there fast.

A-HA were one of the biggest bands of the 1980s and achieved their mainstream breakthrough as soon as they released their debut album “Hunting High and Low” in 1985, which went high in the charts across Europe and the US. It was this album that featured one of their most famous songs “Take on Me”, which went in at number on all over the world and continues to receive airplay to this day. It is also the album that earned them a nomination for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards in 1986. They had made their mark and despite a hiatus from 1994 to 1998, they have been releasing albums ever since, with a back catalogue that includes “Scoundrel Days” in 1986, “Stay on These Roads” in 1988, “East of the Sun, West of the Moon” in 1990 and more recent records such as “Analogue” in 2005 and “Foot of the Mountain” in 2009.

The announcement of their split came in 2009 with an revelation in October establishing their plans for a farewell tour. It came on the back of their most recent album “Foot of the Mountain” earlier in the year, which had brought them back in the limelight with singles such as “What There Is” and more.

The A-HA farewell tour will be a last chance to see this influential group, who have had an effect on popular music for many years. a-ha tickets provide fans with an evening to remember, a concert featuring live renditions of classic songs and when they go on sale, they are certain to sell out fast.
