Acoustic Ladyland released their first album, Camouflage in 2004. This album contained eight songs based on the style in which Jimi Hendrix made music. Songs such as ‘Some Other Sky’, ‘Something Beautiful’ and ‘Little Miss Wingate’ can be found on this album.
One year later, the band released their second album titled ‘Last Chance Disco.’ This album contained eleven songs, such as ‘Ludwig Van Ramone’ and ‘High Heel Blues’ and was a medley of the group’s own style. The album was received well by critics, and won the title of ‘Jazzwise Album of the Year.’ In 2006 the band released their third album titled ‘Skinny Grin.’ The album was released through V2 Records, a company founded by famous entrepreneur, Richard Branson. The band continues to make music to this day.
