Her Jazzy and Blues style quickly made her stand out in the area she lived in. Another band of Sanchezs’, “Haces Bien” released an album and although the band received some recognition, they broke up after a few years.
Between the years 1990 and 1996, Amparo Sanchez studied various forms of music, from that of the Cuban culture to the jazz and blues that she always was interested in. By 1996, a young ‘Amparanoia’ had emerged and was working on a demo. This demo won the band members a record contract with Edel Label. One year later, the band released their first album ‘El Poder de Machin.’ This album, unlike their future albums had a distinctly Latin feel to it. Their third album ‘Feria Furiosa’ had a modern rock style, demonstrating Amparo Sanchez’ ability to create various styles of music whilst retaining her popularity.
Fans who have seen Sanchez and her bandmates performing live will agree that the variety of musical style makes for an excellent concert experience. In order to secure a spot at a concert, tickets should be purchased in advance. For those unable to see Sanchez in concert, her music is available on several music-hosting websites, and her albums are available through various music retail stores as well as through multiple websites. Listening to the music of Amparo Sanchez is an ideal way to escape from reality and relax. Her traditionally Latin sound makes one feel as though they have temporarily escaped to the singers’ homeland in Spain.
