Although they split following the release of their debut album in 2004, Death From Above 1979 are back and will continue to perform in front of their fans and deliver the noise-rock experience for which they are known.
They had initially performed together between 2001 and 2006 with singles, EPs and a studio album to their name before they called it a day, but now audiences have a brand new opportunity to pick up concert tickets and witness them take to the stage. Followers will certainly be hoping that they are still as memorable as ever.
Like other band such as Test Icicles (which originally featured Dev Hynes of Lightspeed Champion), Death From Above 1979 made a name for themselves with loud guitar sounds and a style that is referred to as ‘noise rock’. So between 2001 and 2006 members Jesse F Keeler and Sebastian Grainger released songs like “Romantic Night” and “Blood on Our Hands”, plus the studio album “You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine” and received an abundance of followers along the way – fans that are likely to pick up rock tickets and witness them live today.
