Eric Clapton Tickets

Eric Clapton tickets are not always easy to come by, so making sure you are fast is a necessity. Only then can you witness one of the legends of music take to the stage and present a show like no other; one that remains with you for years to come and gives you the honour of saying you witnessed Eric Clapton perform in the flesh.

Amongst Eric Clapton’s achievements are his crownings as one of the most important guitarists of all time, with Rolling Stone ranking him fourth of a hundred and critics and fans continuing to propel him to levels unattainable for others. His services to the music industry have also led to him becoming a Commander of the British Empire in 2004, with his CBE given to him in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace and placing him alongside other greats from the music world.

Eric Clapton was first given a guitar at the age of 13, but no-one could have predicted the effect this would have on the young boy, or indeed the effect this would have on the music industry as a whole. It would lead to highly influential works appearing in the charts as part of bands and solo works and providing inspiration for many others artists for years to come.

He would eventually begin busking in London in the early 1960s, joining forces with other people and, in time, getting together with The Yardbirds to launch his career. They were a band that helped propel many big names into the music industry and as well as Clapton, they also provided the world with Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck, whilst members Chris Dreja, Ben King and Jim McCarty continue to perform to this day. Eventually, Clapton would be unsatisfied with the direction the band was taking and would be replaced by Jeff Beck, but his time with them was an important period for music and would continue to influence artists to the modern day.

Since then, Clapton has also been a part of John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers and Cream, but it is his solo work that has made him truly stand out for some. Over a long career he has released alums such as “Eric Clapton” (1970), “461 Ocean Boulevard” (1974), “No Reason To Cry” (1976), “Backless” (1978), “Money and Cigarettes” (1983), “Journeyman” (1989), “From the Cradle” (1994), “Riding with the King” (2000), “Reptile” (2001), “Me and Mr Johnson” (2001), “Back Home” (2005) and “The Road to Escondido” (2006).

These albums and more have earned him legions of fans around the world eager to get their hands on Eric Clapton tickets and make their way to the nearest venue hosting his show. His affect on music is unprecedented and will remain firmly in place for years to come.
