Full name Francis Dominic Nicholas Michael Rossi, he originally formed Status Quo alongside Alan Lancaster at the beginning of the 1960s and since that date they have become enormously famous for an abundance of well known songs. The most famous of these are undoubtedly “Rocking all over the World” from 1977 and “Whatever You Want” from 1979, whilst others included “Ice in the Sun”, “Down Down” and “In the Army Now”, amongst others. But Rossi has also found the time to emerge with his solo output, with songs such as “Sleeping on the Job”, “Caroline” (Quo cover), “Rolling Down the Road” and “Here I Go”, plus many more.

So those with rock tickets will be in with a chance of hearing songs like these live, depending on the set list of each given night, with many others found on the two studio albums Francis Rossi has released as well. The first of these was 1996’s “King of the Doghouse”, which was not a commercial success but created great anticipation for his follow all the same. This would eventually take the form of “One Step at a Time” and it would finally arrive in the shops in 2010, bring in him back in the spotlight and proving that he still has what it takes.

With Status Quo he has accumulated years of experience performing live onstage and this is likely to translate into a memorable concert spectacle.
