Since the days of Girl Power when the Spice Girls ruled the world there have been few girl groups who have stood the test of time and maintained a career in the spotlight. However, Girls Aloud have managed to continue to sell millions of records, from albums to singles, and appear on stages around the world to enormous popularity.
Since they emerged from the ITV talent show earlier in the last decade they have proved the detractors wrong and look set to maintain a successful career for some time to come. So make sure you get hold of Girls Aloud tickets to witness the action in person.
As well as releasing songs, the group have also seen individual members go on to have success elsewhere, with Cheryl Tweedy making a name for herself as a judge on “The X Factor” (and becoming the nation’s sweetheart in the process) and the rest appearing on television screens regularly. But together, they are at their best and when Tweedy appears alongside Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, there is no stopping them. From enormous early singles like “Sound of the Underground” and “I’ll Stand By You” to collaborations like “Walk This Way” (alongside the Sugababes) and recent hits like “The Promise” and “Can’t Speak French”, they have proven themselves time and time again.
On the back of their chart-topping debut single “Sound of the Underground”, they would achieve huge success with the album of the same name released in 2003. It was an anticipated release following their formation as the result of the ITV talent competition “Popstars: The Rivals”, in which they were put together alongside the boyband One True Voice (who have since split). But whilst many former talent show contestants see their fortunes waver once the fever surrounding the show has died down, Girls Aloud did not suffer the same fate and they have since had huge success with albums like “What Will the Neighbours Say?” in 2004, “Chemistry” in 2005, “Tangled Up” in 2007 and “Out of Control” in 2008.
So it is safe to say that Girls Aloud have done well to maintain such a career and when they announce a tour of the United Kingdom, Girls Aloud tickets are likely to be enormously popular well into the future. Previous tours have seen them perform in front of huge audiences, with eager fans loving every minute and this will be no different for future shows.
But then, if Girls Aloud were to disappear, there would be no-one to take their place and so it is up to them to prove that Girl Power, which the Spice Girls pioneered in the 1990s, is very much alive. Therefore, when Girls Aloud tickets go on sale fans across the country will make sure that they are first in line.
