Consisting of Peter Cox and Richard Drummie, Go West has released a long list of records since their debut album “Go West” in 1985, back when they made a name for themselves for being huge stars of blue-eyed soul. They had formed years earlier but had failed to make their mark due to the lack of a recording deal (they only had a publishing deal at that point). However, using a portastudio, they were able to create some stand out tracks and secure that covered record deal, leading to the release of a long line of albums right up to the modern day.
It means that since “Go West” (1985), they have also released the likes of “Bangs and Crashes” (1985), “Dancing on the Couch” (1987), “Indian Summer” (1992), “Aces and Kings: The Best of Go West” (1993), “Live at the NEC” (2001), “Tony Hadley vs. Peter Cox & Go West” (2004) and “futurenow” (2008).
