Julie Andrews Tickets

Ready to show audiences that despite many decades as a Hollywood singer, Julie Andrews can still impress the crowds.

Julie Andrews comes to the O2 Arena to perform alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the summer of 2010, presenting a show that will be both unbeatable and unbelievable. It is certain to be an entertaining evening of glorious musical numbers performed by someone whose voice has been celebrated for generations. Although a throat operation in 1998 has meant that she can no longer span four octaves when she sings, she can still dish out her fair share of songs and give other singers a run for their money. It means that audiences should be sure to get their hands on Julie Andrews tickets when they go on sale as it will give them a unique opportunity to witness one of the most celebrated performers of our time.

Julie Walters has enjoyed a successful career as an English stage and screen actress and singer, whilst also finding the time to release various books to her name. She is perhaps most famous for portraying the title role in the monumentally successful Disney classic “Mary Poppins”, which earned her an Academy Award in 1964. She had originally turned down the offer to star in the film due to her pregnancy, but Disney was insistent that she play the part and waited for her to give birth before work on the film started. It has since gone down as an important part of popular culture and it is hard to imagine anyone else in the role. Her other screen credits include “The Americanisation of Emily” (1964), “The Sound of Music” (1965) and the Hitchcock thriller “Torn Curtain” (1966). In recent years she has become famous to a younger generation of movie-goers by appearing in the movies “The Princess Diaries” (2001), “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement” (2004), “Shrek 2” (2004) and “Shrek the Third” (2007).

Whilst appearing onscreen she has also appeared on Broadway, in television shows and received numerous awards and nominations. She was named as Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2000 and continues to be celebrated as one of the biggest names of our time.

When Dame Julie Andrews takes to the stage, audiences are in for an unbeatable show that will remain with them for a lifetime. Purchasing Julie Andrews tickets is therefore a must as she appears on the stage of the O2 Arena for an epic showcase.
