So if you are a fan of Bloc Party or wish to check out an artist with plenty to say in his own right, make sure you get hold of Kele tickets when they become available. It is likely to be very different to witnessing Bloc Party, but the press has hinted that his solo work is not so far away from his routes, so it is likely to be an interesting experience.

With Bloc Party, Kele Okereke has released a host of singles and albums with band mates Russell Lisack, Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong, from early hits like “Helicopter” and “The Prayer” to later releases like “Talons” and “One More Chance”, which all appeared on their three studio alums “Silent Alarm”, “A Weekend in the City” and “Intimacy”. They would quickly become one of the hottest bands around as they performed on stages around the world and sold out enormous venues in the UK. Their signature sound would be a popular one for music lovers everywhere and as they drew huge crowds at festivals they also made countless appearances on television.

But then they went on hiatus in 2009 and left the slate clean for Kele Okereke to work on his solo output. So his debut album would emerge the following year, with “The Boxer” causing quite an impression in 2010, spawning singles like “Tenderoni” and receiving attention for further tracks like “Walk Tall” and “Rise”.

So it is certain that Kele is an artist whose work will be appreciated for some time to come and when he takes to the stage, fans will flock to Kele tickets with gusto. Having already made a huge impression with Bloc Party, he can now take his place alongside other artists who have made it on their own as audiences continue to show him the admiration he deserves.
