For many, Lady Gaga seemed to emerge into the charts out of nowhere and take hold of them in a way that many pop stars could only dream of. She had previously been working hard to hone her skills as a performer and songwriter and clearly this dedication has monumentally paid off.
Before August 2008 barely anyone would have known who Lady Gaga was, but that month was the month in which her debut album rocked the charts and introduced a new star to the world. Since then she has gone from strength to strength and it is hard to turn on the radio without hearing one of her ferocious hits.
This debut album was “The Fame”, an album that was the culmination of years of hard work. She had been a major part of the music world since the age of 19 when she was signed with a different label and recorded a number of tracks. At the same, she was gigging in and around New York, turning many heads with her powerful vocals and stage antics that truly made her stand out. She soon settled on the name Lady Gaga after someone who felt she sounded like Freddy Mercury tried to text her the song title ‘Radio Ga Ga”. The predictive text spelt out Lady Gaga and the rest, as they say, is history.
It was in LA that Lady Gaga’ success really took off and it was here that she created her debut album. The huge success was only matched by the critical acclaim that the press heaped on the release, hailing it as a pop breakthrough and propelling her to new height. Singles from the album would be played everywhere, from her breakthrough single “Just Dance” to other hits like the iconic “Poker Face”.
She then embarked on tour, with many fans clamouring to get tickets for anticipated shows. It was a success as expected and soon after Lady Gaga reappeared in the charts with her second album “The Fame Monster” (2009). This album contained singles such as “Bad Romance” leading the way to further singles chart hits. It is safe to say that she had made her mark and the future looks very bright for Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga tickets are certain to be a monumental draw, so getting hold of them fast is a much. Only then can you witness the star in a location that any musician should call home – the stage.
