Having made a name for themselves in the 1990s and into the early 2000s the Lighthouse Family return to the stage in the United Kingdom to remind their fans of the quality of their live performances. It is here that they are likely to attract considerable attention once again as their fans flock to pick up concert tickets and head to venues across the country.
But then, they have been making a name for themselves for some time and having made a big impression in the mid-1990s they have lost none of the skills that propelled them to stardom. So if you are a fan of the Lighthouse Family then you will not want to miss out on witnessing them perform live.
The two musicians that make up the Lighthouse Family are Tunde Baiyewu and Paul Tucker, vocalist and keyboardist respectively, and they first got together and recorded with one another in the 1980s, which led to interest from record companies in the 1990s. They would eventually emerge into the charts in the middle of the decade and have since had hits with “Lifted”, “Raincloud”, “High”, “Lost in Space”, “(I Wish I Knew How It Would Fell to Be) Free” and “I Could Have Loved You”, amongst others. Those with rock and pop tickets will relish in hearing songs such as these performed live and whilst the set list could feature anything each night, they are unlikely to be disappointed.
The Lighthouse Family have also had success with the three studio albums that they released during their career, beginning with 1995’s “Ocean Drive” and progressing to “Postcards from Heaven” in 1997 and “Whatever Gets You Through the Day” in 2001. So whilst there are still musicians around such as Lemar and Will Young to keep music fans happy, there has been a clear gap left behind following the split of the Lighthouse Family in 2003 – one that has now been filled thanks to their reunion.
So make sure you pick up tickets to witness the newly reformed Lighthouse Family in a live setting, where they will prove once again that they continue to have the necessary skills to stay firmly in the spotlight. When they take to the stage, fans are unlikely to be disappointed.
