With an array of albums and a large amount of EPs under their belt they have managed to become hugely acclaimed over the years and have proven themselves to be highly skilled musicians. So if you are looking for concert tickets to witness a band whose expertise is in no doubt, then Mogwai tickets could be the answer.
The Glasgow rock group is made up of guitarists Stuart Braithwaite, Barry Burns and John Cummings alongside the bass guitarist Dominic Aitchison and their drummer Martin Bulloch. Together they have penned songs defined by impressive instrumentation work with less of an emphasis on vocal work, with songs such as “Summer”, “My Father the Kind”, “Friend of the Night” and others. Since they emerged in the 1990s they have managed to inspire many other artists with these tracks and lay the foundations of a successful career. There have been comparisons to bands like Oceansize, as well as other bands like God is an Astronaut and Explosions in the Sky, amongst others, whilst they also have a distinct place in the scene as a band at the top of their game.
And this is something that has also been proven by their studio albums and EPs, with six albums appearing between their debut and the end of the last decade, plus eight Extended Plays. They first made an impression with their debut “Mogwai Young Team” in 1997 and moved on to the likes of “Come in Die Young”, “Rock Action”, “Mr Beast” and “The Hawk is Howling” alongside EPs like “No Satin”, “Travel is Dangerous” and “Batcat”, amongst others. So they have released plenty of records over the career and as a result there is plenty of material for fans to enjoy and for Mogwai to unleash when they take to the stage.
After all, when it comes to rock tickets, the best bands are always those who are highly skilled at what they do and Mogwai have the reputation for putting on some truly stand-out shows. With a signature sound, few bands come close to matching their quality.
