They have sold millions of records around the world, been recognised with numerous awards and nominations and have added to their fan base on a regular basis since the release of their debut album in 1986. Popular singles have also made them a regular tour-de-force on radio station internationally. It means that with the future still looking strong for this dance music duo, Pet Shop Boys tickets will be hot property when they go on sale.

Both Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are the driving force behind Pet Shop Boys, as the two members who have produced stand out singles like “West End Girls”, “Heart”, “Always On My Mind”, “Heart” and “Did You See Me Coming”. These songs and more have contributed to their ongoing popularity and led to various Grammy Award nominations over the years, with their first in 1997 and their fifth in 2010. They were also honoured with an Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at the 2009 Brit Awards, demonstrating that even after 20 years of work, they are still and admired and respected musical duo.

Pet Shop Boys first emerged in the album charts with their debut record “Please” in 1986, which immediately made an impression on the music scene by charting at number 3 in the UK and reaching platinum status in sales, both in the US and UK. After this they had further success with albums like “Actually” (1987), “Introspective” (1988), “Behaviour” (1990), “Very” (1993), “Bilingual” (1996), “Nightlife” (1999), “Release” (2002), “Fundamental” (2006) and “Yes” (2009).

They originally met in a shop in Chelsea and started to work on material together as early as 1981. Their original name was West End, but this would later change and they would use the title in one of their popular singles. It was after Tennant interviewed The Police in New York that they got their big break, working with Bobby ‘O’ to produce their first song, which eventually took the form of “West End Girls”. However, at this time no-one could have imagined the unprecedented levels of success they would achieve in later years. As the 1980s rolled on they would eventually get to work on various songs and singles before they finally made their mark and the rest, as they say, is history.

When the Pet Shop Boys land on stage, fans are well aware that they are in for a treat. This is why Pet Shop Boys tickets are hot property when they go on sale as they provide fans with a memorable experience and a compelling atmosphere.
