When it comes to indie rock bands, music fans could be forgiven for only thinking of British or American bands, with the host of acts that have come from both countries. But this overlooks a worthy entry into the music scene in the form of Peter Bjorn and John, the Swedish band who have made an impression on audiences ever since they emerged onto the scene in 2001.
Now they return to the United Kingdom to perform in front of their British fans, with concert tickets providing audiences with passes to a show featuring some well known indie rock tracks.
The Peter Bjorn and John of the band’s title take the forms of Peter Morén, who performs on guitar and harmonica (as well as providing vocals), Bjorn Yttling, who performs on the bass and keyboards, and John Eriksson, who performs on the drums. Together they are best known for the song “Young Folks”, as well as further tracks like “Falling and Passing”, “People They Know”, “Let’s Call it Off” and “It Don’t Move Me”. These are all taken from studio albums such as “Falling Out” from 2004 and “Living Thing” from 2009, as well as many others, that have cemented their name in the hearts of fans everywhere and ensured their place in the spotlight alongside similar bands like Grizzly Bear.
So with rock tickets audiences can witness an acclaimed Swedish indie rock band in a live setting and it is likely that the show will be a memorable one. After all they have been around for many years now and in that time they have accumulated enough experience to make the show a huge success. So fans are likely to be there with haste.
