The 12-piece is led by Thomas Laurderdale as its Artistic Director, with other members taking the forms of China Forbes, Robert Taylor, Paloma Griffin, Gavin Bondy, Derek Rieth, Brian Davis, Martin Zarzar, Phil Baker, Maureen Love and Timothy Nishimoto. Together, and alongside various former members, they have wowed audiences with releases such as their debut “Sympathique” in 1997, plus follow ups like “Hang on Little Tomato” in 2004, “Hey Eugene!” in 2007 and “Spendor in the Grass” in 2009. Such offerings have kept their fans happy and it is likely that they will continue to hold on to this for some time to come, as long as they continue to put out an impressive line of records.
