Roger Daltrey, on the back of a successful career in the band The Who and as a solo artist, returns to the stage once again to show off his signature moves and entertain his adoring fans.
It has been over forty-five years since The Who first emerged onto the scene in the mid-1960s and since that first album appeared in the shops the band has released an abundant amount of follow-ups, whilst members such as Daltrey and Pete Townsend have also released various solo albums as well. And it is in this solo capacity that Daltrey makes his latest journey to the stage, with rock tickets allowing audiences to witness a true legend live onstage.
The Who emerged in 1965 and during its tenure they released songs like “My Generation” and albums such as “Quadrophenia”. But there were always tensions within the group and these eventually led to the split of the classic rock band in the early 1980s. Thankfully, Daltrey had already started a solo career at this point and he would continue with this right up to the modern day, with various reunions of The Who along the way. As a solo artist Daltrey has continued to find fans with “Without Your Love”, “One Man Band”, “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” and “Giving it all Away”, among others, and as a result there will be plenty of tracks audiences will be striving to hear in a live setting.
And there are plenty of others to be found on his studio albums as well, from his 1973 debut and onwards. His first album was “Daltrey” and he would follow it up with further releases throughout the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s, from “Ride a Rock Horse” in 1975, “McVicar” in 1980 and “Ricks in the Head” in 1992.
So expect plenty of rock fans to flock to the nearest venue that Roger Daltrey chooses to play, with concert tickets allowing them to experience the performance of a man who has been in the music industry for many decades and in that time built up a worldwide reputation. His shows have always provided signature delights and this is likely to remain the case when he takes to the stage in the modern day.
