The first album to feature the work of Steve Harley was Cockney Rebel’s 1973 release “The Human Menagerie”, followed by “The Psychomodo” in 1974. The group then continued throughout the decade as Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, releasing “The Best Years of Our Lives” in 1975, “Timeless Flight” in 1976, “Love’s a Prima Donna” in 1976, “Face to Face: A Live Recording” in 1977 and “The Quality of Mercy” in 2005.
But Steve Harley has also earned his success as a solo act, not only for stage shows that continue to impress his followers, but with albums that have maintained his fan base to the modern day. His solo work includes “Hobo with a Gun” in 1978, “The Candidate” in 1979, “Yes You Can” in 1992 and “Poetic Justice” in 1996, plus “Anytime! (A Live Set)” under the name The Steve Harley Band.
