The unique band The Airborne Toxic Event emerged with their self-titled debut album in 2008 and over the years they have performed live and also released a documentary DVD, in addition to the usual list of singles and EPs.
So they have been busy in a short space of time and as a result they have honed their style to the extent that witnessing them live is likely to be a memorable occasion. As they are also now on a major label we can expect to hear plenty from them as time goes on, so getting hold of concert tickets to see them live will give audiences access to a band continuously on the rise.
The musicians that make up The Airborne Toxic Event are Mikel Jollett as singer and guitarist, as well as Steven Chen on guitar, Noah Harmon on the bass guitar, Anna Bulbrook on various instruments and Daren Taylor on the drums. With the release of the album “The Airborne Toxic Event” in 2008 they have also found an audience with songs like “Does this Mean You’re Moving On?”, “Sometime Around Midnight”, “Changing” and “Numb”, among others, in addition to the DVD entitled “All I Ever Wanted: Live from Walt Disney Concert Hall”. So like other acts such as The Gaslight Anthems, they are a band to keep a close eye on.
