With the emphasis their songs place on parody they managed to make an impression online via Youtube and social networking sites and as they once again return to the stage you can bet there will be plenty of followers picking up concert tickets to witness the action first hand.

The band members that make up The Midnight Beast includes the mentioned Ashley Horne, as well as fellow band mates Andrew ‘Dru’ Wakely and Stefan Abingdon. Though Horne has appeared in various television programmes for the BBC it has been their parody songs that have brought them to widespread attention, in particular their song “Tik Tok” (a parody of a song by Kei$ha), which has clocked up millions of views on Youtube and made them an internet sensation. So plenty of people know about them, meaning that all there is to do now is to pick up rock and pop tickets to see them live.

But they have also put together a host of other tracks that will add to an impressive set list when they perform live. With “Tik Tok” remaining their most popular, they have also released “Lez be Friends”, “House Party”, “Ninjas”, “Friends for Never” and “Booty Call”, amongst various others. So seeing them live is likely to be an interesting experience as they perform an array of parodies that have given them great favour with their fans and allowed them to stand up alongside contemporaries like You Me At Six and Kids In Glass Houses as a band to contend with.

So as the young Youtube stars gear up to return to the stage – where they belong – there will be plenty of people armed with concert tickets hoping to witness a stand out show, something that they are likely to deliver time and time again.
