The indie rock band The Phoenix Foundation make the journey from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for more live shows. Popular for a range of albums that have appeared in shops between 2003 and the modern day they have earned critical acclaim for their work that has not always been met by success in the charts.
But this is not to say they do not have their fans and in the last decade they have made up a respectable fan base of international followers. So there will be plenty of people to pick up concert tickets the moment that they touch down in the UK.
The Phoenix Foundation consist of Samuel Flynn Scott, Luke Buda, Tom Callwood, Will Ricketts, Conrad Wede and Richie Singleton. They formed at the beginning of the 2000s and emerged with their debut album “Horsepower” in 2003, with “Pegasus” following in 2005, “Happy Ending” in 2008 and “Buffalo” in 2010. In between they have earned praise with songs like “Hitchcock”, “Bright Grey”, Flock of Hearts” and others, to ensure that they have plenty to bring to the stage when rock tickets go on sale.
