They have admirers on an international stage, whilst also receiving particular acclaim from fellow musicians, so they are likely to remain in the spotlight for some time to come, having released abundant studio albums and singles, as well as solo releases from band member Mike Scott, and maintaining a presence on the world platform. So when they return to the stage here in the United Kingdom, concert tickets are going to provide audiences with a stand-out experience, allowing them to sell with haste.

As well as Scott, The Waterboys currently take to the stage with the line-up that includes Steve Wickham and Ash Soan, alongside Katie Kim, Simon Wallace and others. The Scottish band’s original time in the charts lasted from the early 1980s to 1993,with Scott remaining in the limelight with solo albums between 1993 and 2000, then re-emerging with The Waterboys from then until the modern day. So songs of theirs are held in high regard and they include the likes of “A Girl Called Johnny”, “The Whole of the Moon”, “Fisherman’s Blues” and “Everybody Takes a Tumble”, amongst others. So whilst other Scottish rock acts like Simple Minds, or similar acts like The Saw Doctors, continue to tour, The Waterboys have also maintained their place in the hearts of fans.

And such fans will be out in full force hoping to hear the folk rock sounds of The Waterboys when they take to the stage, with studio albums under their belt also providing tracks for them to perform onstage. Mike Scott is said to make no distinction between the band and his solo work and as a result there is an abundance of albums out there that have emerged between 1983 and the modern day, with the original tenure from “The Waterboys” in 1983 to “Dream Harder” in 1993, then solo records like “Bring ‘Em All In” and “Still Burning” in the 1990s, followed by “A Rock in the Weary Land” in 2000. More recently, they have emerged with “Book of Lightning” in 2007 and such releases make rock tickets enormously popular items.

This is also because witnessing The Waterboys live is a must as it is the ultimate way of hearing their back catalogue of impressive releases whilst also enjoying their work alongside like-minded fans. And as The Waterboys have been touring for many decades, they will know how to put on a stand out performance.
