Towards the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s there was an array of songs that made it into the charts that cemented Train as a band to keep an eye on in America. Amongst them was the 2001 hit “Drops of Jupiter” and now in the 2010s, with these classics in mind, we can expect great things when tickets go on sale to witness Train in a live setting.

With various other singles under their belt, plus albums to go with them, Train have ensured a lasting place in the hearts of many fans and their return to the stage is likely to be met with great anticipation.

When Train emerge onstage in the modern day audiences witness Patrick Monahan take on vocal duties alongside lead guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood. Alongside former members such as Rob Hotchkiss and others they have put together some well known tracks that have turned many heads all over the world, from the mentioned “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” to the likes of “Meet Virginia”, “She’s on Fire”, “Hey, Soul Sister” and “If It’s Love”. With comparisons to bands like Matchbox Twenty and OneRepublic, amongst others, they have earned a huge following on their own terms and ensured that audiences listen to their work well into the future.

And this has also been helped by their studio albums – the first of which, “Train”, emerged into the shops in 1998 –  in the last decade, which has also included “Drops of Jupiter” in 2001, “My Private Nation” in 2003, “For Me, It’s You” in 2006 and, their final album of the last decade, “Save Me, San Francisco” in 2009. With tracks on albums such as these, plus their singles, they have earned their place in the spotlight and are likely to provide fans with a memorable show when rock tickets go on sale.

After all, whilst they are still best known for the hugely successful song “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)”, they have carved out a career with an abundance of albums and singles over the years and fans will be hoping to hear glorious live version of these tracks when they take to the stage.
