Audiences looking for an evening of high quality entertainment featuring music from a range of styles will have plenty to smile about when it takes to Wilton’s Music Hall later in the year.

Whilst the show is set to be presented by Aled Jones, the famous music and television star, the “Very Musical Evening” will also feature some other top names – including Jonathan Groff, who regularly lights up our screens on TV’s “Glee”, and Stiles and Drewe – so it is likely to be a show that audience members will remember well after the curtain closes.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the charity that will benefit for this musical showcase so not only will it be an entertaining evening it is also going to a good cause.

Presenter Aled Jones is perhaps best remembered for the 1985 cover of “Walking in the Air”, the song originally heard in the acclaimed movie “The Snowman”. However, since that song rose in the charts over twenty years ago, he has embarked on a career that has seen him make numerous television and radio appearances, whilst also releasing an abundance of albums and singles. He was recently seen trying to obtain number one singles alongside Sir Terry Wogan, which were both in aide of “Children in Need”, whilst his television presenting duties have included the likes of “Songs of Praise” and “The Choir”.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Groff , whilst best known to audiences for his ongoing role as Jesse St James in “Glee”, has appeared in a wealth of television, film and stage productions around the world. 2010 is the year in which he will be seen in the West End in a production of “Deathtrap” at the Noel Coward Theatre, whilst previous roles having included “Spring Awakening” in New York and “Hair”. He career has seen him earn numerous awards and nominations.

“Very Musical Evening” will be making its way to Wilton’s Music Hall on Sunday 26th September 2010.
